How to Post on OurHood
All community partners have the option of sending out an email, SMS and push
notifications when posting from your partner profile. Your posts and
attachments will be stored in your partner section.
Single hood partners:
Community partners who operate in one neighbourhood only can simply log into
OurHood with their partner profile and create a new post by clicking on the

Do you want to see active progress in your neighbourhood? Do you have issues
you’d like to raise with the municipality, police or local government but don’t
know the correct channels?

Promote a neighbourhood event or fundraiser:
The Neighbourhood Association will host a market on the village green to raise
funds for the upgrade of the play park equipment.
We have received permission from the City to host the market. We will also be
provided with electricity points.
Any residents who would like to host a stall, please fill out the form attached.
We’re looking for craft stalls, fresh produce and food stalls. Details of the market
can be found in the events section.

The Neighbourhood Association AGM
Thank you to all residents who attended The Neighbourhood Association AGM
Crime in the neighbourhood took centre stage at the meeting along with the state
of the public spaces in the area.
We agreed that our members will attend all local safety meetings to stay abreast
of the crime situation and how we can help prevent incidents.
We will also host weekly clean-ups of the park and other major public areas and
appeal to all residents to get involved.
